Aggies In Glory
Father, why such a
forlorn face?
Oh Father, look at the
earth,
See all the people
living in disgrace?
Please tell me, and
tell me true
Are there any left who
still look to you?
Father I fear we need
more angels. 12 to be
exact.
But who can we use
when love for you Humans lack?
Son there are many
children of mine
Who still call my name
with love divine,
Who still love me and
tell others too.
Come, let me show you just a few.
See that place down
yonder son?
"HOME OF THE 12TH
MAN" for they have won.
Each person shows love
and unity to all.
I've found our angels,
you do the call.
As Jesus looked down
upon this chosen town,
He looked at the
bonfire, pleased with what he found.
Then he chose the 12,
the brave, the strong,
And with that they
stood before the Father,
Home
where they belong.
And though it may be
hard for humans to accept,
There's no need to
weep or mourn or fret.
For our 12 Aggie
friends are now Angels in Glory,
Leaving
us with their Aggie spirit, here to tell their story.
