This past Wednesday, April 3, the Planning Committee had its first meeting in the Flag Room at the MSC. We will be having a meeting April 17th to further discuss planning the activities of the Coalition. I need your ideas for our future events! The Former Student Committee is going great. We have many former students wanting to know more about the Bonfire Coalition and our goal: Texas Aggie Bonfire burning again, but we need your help. The Former Students Committee is not only for Texas A&M Former students. Our committee encompasses current students, both undergraduates, graduates, former students, and regular people wanting to help in seeing Bonfire burn again.

The Former Students Committee is seeking CURRENT TEXAS A&M STUDENTS, both undergraduate and graduate, to aid both former students and the Former Student co-chairs in promoting Bonfire. ALL undergraduate students are strongly encouraged to join the Former Students Committee because we are here in Aggieland and hear the news first. We will be having a meeting Tuesday 7:30 in the Flag Room.

This is a way you can help reach out to our former students and let them know what is happening at our beloved University. Anyone who wishes to join the Former Student Committee can email us at Coalition_FormerStudents@yahoogroups.com I encourage all students to join our committee, both current and former, for without our help and determination Bonfire may never burn again.

The Fundraising Committee will hold its next meeting at ‘Rumors’ this Thursday, April 11th, at 6pm. We will be discussing ideas for fundraising events. If you have any ideas, please plan to join us! Any questions regarding the Fundraising Committee may be directed to Robin Brown '03, Treasurer, and Ian MacDiarmid '04 at Fundraising@bonfirecoalition.org.

The Campus Outreach Committee will hold its second meeting Tuesday night (April 9) at 7:00 pm in the back corner of the MSC Flag Room. If you weren't able to make the last meeting, hopefully you can make this one so that everyone will be informed about what is going on with the Bonfire Coalition on campus, and we can get some things rolling. Bring any friends who are interested, because we will always take all the help we can get.
